Facebook app?

Ok, so on my ipod touch when someone writes on my wall, comments, like, etc I get a notification popup (Push-Notification) even if I am not on the facebook app. Does the droid x offer this as well?

I dont think so.... Ive been messing around with it to see if it would, but no dice
