facebook contacts

i am sure there is a 1000 posted on this so please forgive if there is.

I have synced my facebook with my Droid and i have checked sync with existing contacts, however when i go to send say my sister(who is saved as moo bc that is what my girls call her) it will bring up EVERYONE with "moo..." in their last name from my FB contacts who has a # saved to their profile. I play some games on FB so i have like 500)give or take a few) I do not know half those people and i certainly don't want their #'s in my phone. I just want it to sync with my EXISTING contacts.

Anything i can do to fix this? dancedroid

open facebook on your phone, click the menu, settings, under other settings, click existing contacts.

I have done that a few times lol. the only thing that seems to work is removing my FB account from my phone.
