Facebook event notification

Did not know where to post this so I guess here i keep getting a facebook event notification in my notification bar on my moto droid like 12 times a day for no event it takes me to facebook mobile site through xscope. I cleared everything from xscope cache password everything but still comes back anyone know what is wrong here ?

I was getting this too, even after I cleared all of my event invites out. So what I did was open the fb app, then went to settings, and unchecked event invites.
