Facebook hack request

One of the things that really bugs me is Facebooks 420 character limit when posting up a new status. Using the FB app I'm not even sure it lets me get near that number.

Now I have seen friends post HUGE status posts with 1200+ characters when they post from their iPhone. So I was wondering if there's tweak of sorts in the app that can be done to allow as many characters as we want?

Anyone know if this can be done of where in the app it would have to be modified?

I am having the same problem i like to make my facebook status long and i cant. Please someone have a answer or should i just get a iphone.

Hope the thread isn't dead yet, I don't have a" fix" for the actual app, but in launcher pro plus on the facebook widget u can type and post as much as u want....prolly doesn't help ur specific situation but just throwin it out there
