facebook not working since 2.2

I've read about people patching facebook to get it working again since updating from 2.1 to 2.2. I'm not rooted, but ever since the update when I access facebook it just says "null" then something about not finding information.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

I have the same problems when I try to look a news feed and to notifications

With 2.2 the uninstall is greyed out for facebook

Segen77, I figured how to updated it so that it works properlly. The problem, stim from 2.2 installs an older version of facebook (1.2). I went to facebooks website on my phone and hit the download app at the bottom of the page: It took me to the Market and had me download 'Facebook for Android' version 1.3.2(I think). Now facebook works just fine, just now have to get use to the new GUI.

since I did the upgrade, and then just did a factory restore because of issues with mp3 and camera - I am not getting ALL of the FB updates in social networking.... before I was NOT getting all of the game etc updates....

Is there a way to "turn Off" all of the game updates etc???
