Facebook Notifications on Text Messaging

I have a Motorola Moto G and my text messaging gets filled with Facebook notifications. I do not care to have these on my phone - they drive me crazy. Please tell me what to do to get Facebook notifications off my text messaging site.

Welcome to the Forum.

If you have the FB App on your phone, go into settings and turn off notifications. You should go to FB as well and cancel them on their site as well.

Are you using Messanger or just the Facebook app, because as Jeffrey said you can turn it off easy in the settings.
