Facebook sync not wanted!

Every time i add my facebook account it syncs all my contacts and all that hub bub but I don't want it 2 do that. I go 2 manage accounts and all I see when i click facebook is my Email & Password. I can't find an option 2 unsync or unlink contacts anywhere in account settings or facebook settings. How do I unsync facebook contacts from my phone without deleting facebook? :icon_evil:

Download the facebook app for android from Facebook it has an option not to sync.

Is that the only way? Cause I downloaded it but I don't like it as much.

Thanks anyway. I just removed the facebook account.
