Facebook Syncing

Is there a reason, even though Facebook is an option on your Apps screen to sync, that it does not allow you to do it? I am sure this has been asked already, but just wanted to know. I am a newbee with this device, so any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks alot

Yes, Facebook hasn't updated their app to sync with the Galaxy Nexus (or anything running stock Ice Cream Sandwich). There are plenty of custom roms out now that have fixed this issue. Be aware that contact will sync, but the pictures will not.

Probably whenever Facebook gets around to it.
