Facebook & Weather not working now - Froyo issue?

So I got the 2.2 update on Friday and updated and my phone seemed to be working fine. Today however I appear to be having an issue with Facebook not updating. When I try to refresh it is not loading older posts and is only showing 1 or 2 current posts. I tried to uninstall, but when I go to downloads in marketplace it was only giving me the option to uninstall updates. I did that and tried to reinstall, but still having issues.

Also running into an issue with the weather software. Now witht ht update it seems that my weather is constantly roaming and giving me a different current location. Up until yesterday it was using my default, but doesn't appear to anymore.

Have these issues happened to anyone else?

I am really bummed about Facebook as I like to go on through out the day and see what is going on. Is there an easy fix or am I going to have to go to my local store and ask them to fix it?

When you are only given the option to uninstall updates this means that that particular app is in the system of your device and is uninstallable without Root Access, the reason the uninstall updates option is there is because updates are stored in the data/app folder of your device

Uninstall the update, sign out, reboot your phone and sign back in and see if this makes a difference

So is the issue not related to the Froyo update, but possibly a facebook update? I had it set to automatically update (didn't realize that until tonight), guess I shouldn't have it that way. When I uninstall the updates it looks like the entire app changed. I noticed the home screen icons were different and when I hit the menu button it gave me both a home and refresh option.

I am just a little confused as my wife played with the phone when I first got it and went and setup my facebook app.

So does the problem still exist after uninstalling the facebook update ?

I don't know if it is a froyo or facebook problem for you, I am just trying to troubleshoot the problem

Looks like it might still be giving me an issue. Noticing that it also not giving me all posts. Things such as different topics/interests that people become fans of, game related posts. Not sure if this was happening before and I just never noticed it or what.

The major issue seems to be when I try to load older posts it is only going back an hr. Am wondering if this could be from the uninstall/re-install.
