Factory reset on rooted bionic..

As the title states, I have a rooted bionic and I've removed a couple of bloat apps. Will I be able to perform a successful factory reset or do I need to do the fastboot to get my phone back to stock?

Yes you will need to flash back to stock via fastboot...just doing a factory reset while you have Superuser will net you stock 'with' Superuser still...

Factory reset will not restore missing applications.
