Factory Reset prep help...

Allrighty. I just now have time to really dig and research about whats going on with my D2....
It freezes alot, and starts getting reeeally slow, the screen response is horrible and it's just plain sad these days...I went through and cleaned out any "questionable" looking apps and made sure I was running as few things as possible and that helped, but I'd still feel better if I could do a factoryreset and have it work like new again :icon_ banana:

...but new as in I can keep all my apps and contacts.

Will my apps be backed up to my gmail acount? What do I need to do before I factory reset it?
Thank you!

Best thing to do would be to make sure your contacts sync with your gmail, you could also make a vcf file of your contacts to save on your sd card. (go to contacts, settings, more, export to sd) I normally do both just in case. You can always try titanium backup to save all your apps and data(so game process isnt lost). But any apps that you have purchased will be link to your gmail so you can re-download. You can also could use astro file manager to back up all your apps for free (no data will be save, just app) Just look for tools in the app and backup. It really just depends on how much you want to save.
But titanium backup is worth every penny, specially when you start changing roms!
