Rootjunky is the man when comes to hacking and Mcgyvering his way around Android's Factory Reset Protection. He has released a bypass method for just about every phone out there on just about every version of Android. Every time his methods are patched by Google he just finds another way in. It has actually become rather comical. In case you are wondering FRP keeps thieves from accessing your phone after wiping its data without having your Google login credentials.

Normally FRP Bypass methods are long and drawn out and take a bit of know how and skill even when following directions. The latest FRP bypass method which Tom has put together for LG devices like the Stylo 2, G4, G5, and V10 is actually rather straightforward and to the point. It is kind of insane how Tom finds these bugs. The full walkthrough is in the video above.

To call it comical is an understatement! Tom is just amazing, on a roll and it seems unstoppable. The fact is, the more powerful, complicated and large the OS gets, the more loopholes there are to exploit. That isn't to say what Rootjunky isn't absolutely amazing...just the opposite. Finding new loopholes or rooting out old ones he's either overlooked or simply didn't have a need to exploit since he had already accomplished the goal, is in itself absolutely amazing and to be awed.

What is to be gained by bypassing FRP? I'm just curious. It sounds like it is a good thing to have it not to bypass it. Maybe I am misunderstanding it?
