Faint clicking noise with snapchat and camera app

Hi,
Lately I've noticed a faint snap/click noise when using both my camera app and snap chat app on my s7. For instance when I open up the camera app and click the corner to view a picture I'll here it, or if I view someone's snapchat story or leave that app I'll hear it also. Everything on my phone seems to work fine otherwise. Does anyone else have this? Is it a sign of damage?

I'm hoping maybe this is normal and just the lens switching on and off? I have dropped my phone occasionally, but it has an otterbox commuter case (which I'm not saying is completely fool proof)

I've noticed its the inside of the front lens clicking upward very slightly when the front camera is activated. I'll have to take a look at other cameras in the verizon store to see if other ones do the same but has anyone else noticed this? I saw a recent thing about them shattering so I hope it's not an issue.
