Fast reboot app (anyone tried it?)

I've tried this four star app called fast reboot in the market for a few weeks now. It seems to be helping my droid run smoother and haven't had any problems from it. I was told that it is not good to cut your droid off but when I did reboot that way it would help. So when I found this app that doesn't cut your phone off but reboots your phone with one click of a widget, I had to try it.
I was wondering if some of the pros here have an opinion on this type of app. Also if anyone has tried it and what you think.

I am wondering if it is going to be considered unnecessary in Froyo as Advanced Task Killer is.?. I used Fast Reboot and Task Killer when my phone was knew and I was setting it up / installing apps and it was helpful then, but I think it is superfluous now. Also I think it disrupts some apps from running naturally...
