my replacement phone just got here and activated, now i need some apps to get back in the game. ive got a few of the basics, but what are some favorite apps from my fellow x users?

these are always hard to answer but some of my favs or must haves are digital clock, agenda widget, batterytime, apps organizer, weatherbug, and Dolphin HD or mini. These are just a few of the apps i usually 'have' to have. As for games well none of them are great for me and idk why angrybirds is so cool, just a boring game i have played different variations before. and if you into music well a recent app that came out, at least to my knowledge, called poweramp is a must have for music. Its 5 bucks though so up to you. Rockplayer for videos for many file types. There tons of apps out there you just got to search for things you might need and then try out various ones that do the same thing and you will eventually find the ones that meet your needs.

Well with about 6GB of onboard storage i pretty much download anything and everything. That and 2 16Gb sdcards the ammount of apps i can have is endless.

However my top two would be arcmedia for my downloaded movies (.avi, divx) and Tv Shows Stream to watch all my favorite tv shows.

Game wise i would say all of Gamelofts new HD games (Sandstorm, Brothers in Arms, Fishing Kings, Asphalt, Avatar, Shrek Kart, Spider-man)

I use Inventory to catalog my DVDs and CDs (need a barcode scanner app to use it)

Air Control Lite is an addictive game if you're into air traffic control

RealCalc is an excellent RPN calculator

Scanner Radio feeds internet streams of fire, police, etc. to the phone

TuneIn Radio is a must for just about any internet stream of radio/podcasts

Google Sky Map is excellent for stargazing

DolphinHD is my browser of choice

Ustream is great to send live audio/video over the web

Skype (full version, not the mobile one) works great at home on WiFi

WiFiAnalyzer is simple yet effective for showing you what Wi-Fi signals are out there

KeePassDroid is essential for password storage (especially if you use KeePass on the PC)

WeatherBug is a great weather app

Alchemy is a fun game and makes you think

Need For Speed Shift is actually quite good

SMS Backup is killer. Lets you save texts to your gmail account.
