FB 1.4 - bb ripoff?

I actually like the 1.4 version, buuuuut it looks virtually identical to the version of fb app that was, and maybe still is, the RIM variety. To be honest, I think it is that version....

I'm not sure why your surprised by this. Both apps are developed by Facebook themselves. They (Facebook) are attempting to enable the same functionality and user experience from all phones. RIM and Android phones have a radically different software development platform, so sounds like Facebook has achieved their goal of a consistent user experience across all devices.

I guess so. Not surprised really. A little disappointed more than anything...the bb version, now an android platform, had been on rim's os platforms for years....bringing this version as an update is a review of the past for some of us....

Again its not a bad version, just old.
