FB pic update

I noticed about three weeks ago, the pictures for the contact shortcuts I have for a select few people on my home screen (which are from FB) updated on their own. Since then, they haven't...but if I look at them from a PC...they have changed. Why won't my DX update. I have all the syncs to allow for it and there doesn't seem to be some setting I'm overlooking. Turns out, my own FB pic for myself on the phone is outdated too...

Weird. Solution?

Nothing? I have read the other research on here and its not the same. When I look at my contact list, there is a picture for everyone....just not an updated one. So the solution before was to go to setting in the fb app and basically resync (which isnt an option on the DX) or delete everything and let fb resync itself, which leaves me with updated pics but no solution to the lack of updates. A bug perhaps?
