Fedex signature policy

My Droid X has shipped and should be here monday or tuesday and requires a signature. I won't be home. Can I leave a note or something instead of signing the card they leave and waiting another day?

Leave a signed door tag and they will leave it....You can pick them up at kinkos.....or a fedex store.

Ive also left a paper note with my signature on it. They left it.
