Welcome to the forum! In ur main menu, there should be a bunch of Widgets, is there one named Files or Folder? Do u have an app like Astro File Manager?

Astro file manager has a search setting, if you're rooted, root explorer is awesome.

that's ok if u don't know, the forum is here to assist u. I only recommend rooting as a last resort.its not for everyone although there are pluses to it.
