Files on Droid Desktop

Is it possible to put files on your droid desktop like you would your computer? For example: I transferred a video to my droid but I can only access it via ASTRO or my movie gallery. Can I put it on one of my 6 screens that I see when i turn on my phone?:icon_ banana:

yes you can do it through your shortcuts. Long press on the homescreen and go to shortcuts and you can go through astro to find the video you want to put on the homescreen
