So sad. We knew a couple where a similar thing happened growing up. They were friends of my parents. He had cancer or something else terminal. She had had some health issues, but nothing major. He passed away as expected and her heart gave out the day after.

I can't imagine how Carrie's brother (and other members of the family) must feel. It's bad enough losing one member, especially at the age of 6, which is really still quite young when you think about the ages to which people are living.

I knew that her mom had been famous, but wasn't aware that she was in Singing in the Rain.
