Flash/ rom help

Ok, i need some help!! So i just rooted my d2, no problem. Now how do i add a rom to it & flash it. I want to use squidley's rom. Someone walk me through this please. Have got as far as doing a back up with bootstrap. Thanks

first make sure you have zipped file on the root of your sd card.
using droid bootstrap, boot into recovery.
go to advanced, wipe delvik cache.
using power button, go back one menu.
wipe data,
wipe cache.
install from zip.
choose zip from sd card.
select your file.
when its done reboot.

I got liberty to work, wanted to try sqidileys so i did that one. Now i get two of certin apps. What do i do to get rid of them.
