Flashed Droid doesn't work in NJ

My friend has a Motorola Droid flashed to MetroPCS and it has worked fine in Georgia. But when he brought it to NJ, it doesn't make phone calls. He says data and text works fine. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Its the PRL configuration; he needs to find a working PRL for that area.

I have a Motorola Droid flashed to iusacell Mexico; and I was having the same problem when traveling to another location; solution was to find a good PRL.
