Hi all.
I've got some foam creeping up inside my screen. Held vertically, it is along the bottom edge of the home screen above the menu, home, etc. buttons.
Twice the screen has been stuck perpetually trying to scroll and was unresponsive to my touch. Both times rebooting with the keyboard solved this.
It's not terribly bothersome to me; but if I'm going to try to make this thing last another 16 months...
Has anyone else seen this?

Someone posted about it a few months back with an original droid 2 but theirs wasn't affecting their ability to scroll. Iirc they said it became a little more prominent over time. If the issue persists you may want to bring it in to vzw for a replacement.

Agreed. Same thing is happening here with a D2G, where the foam is starting to encroach upon the bottom border of the LCD...However, it doesn't affect the scrolling whatsoever. Bring it in to VZW to have it checked out/replaced.

Its funny that this issue was prominent on both D2 and D2G... I never had this issue on my D1. However, my current D2 and 3 people I know with D2 and or D2G have the same foam issue. Hasn't affected scrolling on screen yet but deffinitely a bummer to look at!

Entirely possible the scrolling issue was unrelated.
Thanks for the replies, though I'm not sure if it's good or bad to not be the only one with this problem.

I'll have it looked at the next time I'm near a Verizon store; but I'm very hesitant to take a replacement phone. This one has very rarely given me any trouble, I'd hate to get into the cycle of getting a buggy replacement phone and having to replace it with anonther.
