Folder on Home Screen doesn't always open

I set up a folder on my Home Screen of my "X" that has a number of "stock quotes"... that I bookmarked and then placed in this folder on my home screen.
When I turn on my "X"..the folder will open but then after 4 or 5 times..if will fail to open showing my bookmarked stock quotes.
It seems strange that everything else on my home screen will open... but not the folder with my stock quotes.
The only way I can get the folder to open again is by "turning off the phone and restarting it"...then the folder will "open".
Anyone know why this happens and how to correct the problem? It is rather annoying at times.

I am having the exact same problem with a folder on the home screen that has my contacts that I call the most, sort of like speed dial. It will open for awhile, then will not open after that.
I also had to turn off the Droid 2.

Thanks..now we need find out how we can eliminate the problem...anyone know???
