Font types

is there any way to download for more add on Fonts ?
have a Droid Razr Maxx HD and is does not let you change to different style Fonts

there are apps in the market that will do it, but i believe you need to be rooted to use most if not all of them.

yes, i looked at about 30 of them then downloaded about 5 and no changes, so i guess that means the Razr Maxx HD is locked out,why would they do that, is it really such a big deal to change around your fonts ?

If you use Go Launcher you can use Go Launcher Fonts without root.

you can actually soft brick your phone by putting an incompatible font on it. ive done it before.
if the phone doesnt do it by default, you need root, because the fonts are stored in a system folder.
thats probably why the apps you tried didnt work.

im assuming this would only change areas controlled by the launcher? not the entire system.
