For those of you that cannot update to 2.2

I did have my phone rooted then I unroot the phone. When it was rooted I had deleted the CityCallID and 3g hotspot, then used the files provided here to reinstalled them. I tryed everthing to fix it but I cannot load the 2.2 OTA Froyo. So Verizon is sending me a replacment phone for free with the upgrade. Just let them know your phone cannot install the 2.2 OTA and they will send you a new phone. Also to skip the BS let them know you already did it 6 times with no luck and rested the phone back to factory but still nothing.

As long the 2.2 OTA completely fails it is safe to SBF your phone to stock 2.1. I did it this evening and then was able to install 2.2 OTA.
