On the Verizon Navigator or any other navigator I have seen, there is always a button to hit that will force it to speak the next driving direction. It will say the next turn and distance until then. But I can't seem to see a way to make the Droid speak on demand.
Am I missing something? Can it speak when you want it to, in addition to when it wants to?
Do others agree it is kind of a quiet entity?

If it were just a GPS then yes, you have a point. However Droid does a ton of stuff besides GPS so while it might be a nice feature, not having it doesn't bother me.
