Any of you guys ever use an otter box case? Someone at work recommended it to me and I got to look at his and yes it is bulky but seems to be very durable and solid. I considered buying one but it IS big and pricey.

Despite their (Otterbox cases) apparent popularity, I don't like them just for the reasons you state...but it's all up to what you like/prefer for your phones. For my D1, I preferred the bulkier Body Glove case...actually I loved that case on that phone. And with the D3, perhaps I am just trying to be different from my days with the D1....but I like the 'as is' look and feel of the larger D3, while the look and feel of a 'naked' D1 I did not care for at all.
