is it really that easy to root your phone? I was thinking about rooting it and I was gonna use method in this forum and I came across this video. Is it gonna be the same thing? or is this just gonna mess up my phone?

ya it is that easy i just did it minutes ago after i went back to 2.1 from 2.2

I wasn't sure because the topic on this forum was done a different way and I wasn't sure if 1 way was better than the other.

first time i rooted i used a terminal emulator and so far i havnt seen a difference in the two methods in terms of performance or functionality.
