This serves as a PSA for the many of you who have been asking me FoxFi does work on the Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. I say it works on Verizon because I have not tested it on any other carriers. I also know that some carriers are able to block FoxFi so your usage may vary.
Now that carriers like T-Mo and AT&T are starting to offer unlimited data again you mind find it useful to have wifi tethering. Tethering with FoxFi works without root. You will need to buy the paid version to tether for more than a few MB though. It is a one time fee. I paid for it years ago and am still able to use it today! With Spring Break and road trips looming now is the time to set up your new S7 or S7 Edge with the app and test it out on your PC!
