Freezing & Turning back on

Hello! I have a Droid X and it is constanty freezing for several seconds. It is really getting annoying. Also, when I power down the phone at night it tends to turn itself back on. I contacted Verizon regarding both of these issues....they sent me a new phone and it's doing the exact same thing. I think this phone is worse Any suggestions? Thanks!

When you got your new phone did you restore all the apps that were on your old one (or possibly saved to your SD card) I'm willing to bet that an app is doing this. Mine used to do the same so I did a factory reset
