A while back I was experimenting with solar charging and I think I fried my usb port. When I plug the charging cable in the port the charge indicator does not come on, either from the computer or factory charger. I have tried a half a dozen cables with the same result. However, the battery is still being charged and indicator shows the green as its filling up. While this doesn't affect most phone functions it sucks not being able to connect my phone to a computer for rooting, file sharing etc... It seems like the data portion of the port is not working. Any ideas on how to fix this, anyone else have this issue?
