from HDMI to microUSB on Galaxy Tab S

I have two Fuji digital cameras and each has an HDMI port to connect the camera to a TV or monitor with HDMI inputs to view and edit image and video files in-camera, before they are downloaded to a tablet or computer via the microUSB port. Basically the HDMI output from the camera allows the user to replace the 3" LCD screen on the back of the camera with an external TV or monitor with HDMI ports.

I would like to use my Galaxy 10.5" Tab for this purpose and I see that Samsung and other vendors make HDMI/microUSB converters. But in all the descriptions they talk about playing or viewing content from the tablet to an external monitor. I am looking to do the opposite and would like to know if anyone has done this with a digital camera and how.

Thank You.
