Front and Rear camera aren't working?

My front and rear camera are not working. Every time i try and use them they open and then exit back to the home page like nothing had happened. Im trying to take pictures and it just refuses to work! i downloaded a new camera app and that didnt work either. i also tried reporgramming my phone! please help!!

I have a Droid 3 and i reprogrammed hte whole phone (*228) and this is the second time! i dont remember how i fixed it the first time!
