Full Screen Picture ID? End call??

Has anyone seen an app that will make our contact photos full screen instead of the little photo when someone calls?
End call has been a nightmare for me lately.. sometimes the only way i can get the screen to come back on is to open the keyboard, is there an app for that?!

I've been looking for one as well, but so far no go. I think we'll just have to wait for someone creative to make a new app.

Check out Shake Awake. It does...well, pretty much what it's name implies.

I have that same problem with End Call, which is a real problem when I am busy. As expensive as these phones are, ending a call is a BASIC function that should not require a thrird-party program.

My question is, what is Motorola or Verizon going to do to fix these issues? They're mounting...

For those of us who bought the Droid on its release date, we have a MAJOR decision to make before the software patch is available. I might be veering off topic on this one, but END CALL issues are a real hassle.

I'm really thinking about taking my Droid back. Too many little issues. Not one really great bid deal-breaker, but wow.

I'm really disappointed in this phone. I really, really, wanted to love it.

What update? Where is available? When I choose System Update on my handset, I'm told my phone is up-to-date.

I know there is a system software update coming out December 11th, but by that time, I will have probably returned my Droid, and yes, maybe even have moved back to AT&T.

At least I can text accurately on an iPhone.

the update was with that particular app, not the OS, sorry for the confusion. I've never owned an iPhone so I can't really compare, other than i did do a speed test with a buddy of mine and the Droids browser is faster.
the end call situation is a big deal. it's dumb and frustrating. i agree, this is a basic function and i've read that some people are saying that it could be a sensor issue with the first batch. I don't know if this is true, but some have said they have taken it into the store where they have replaced it on the spot.
in my opinion, the droid does need some help in some areas and in other areas it really dominates. i came from the storm and the storm2. the storm handled contacts, emails, calendars and the sure type was even better than the droid. The way i look at it, this is the first droid version, there will be lots of improvements and i'm ready to stick it out. look how long it took for the iPhone to progress..

People tend to forget this is a first generation device with new 2.0 software. Can you really expect not to have problems? I expect updates will fix most all issues soon.

Yeah, and if it's really bad enough, take it in, it could be a defective sensor.

Ummmm what end call issues? What issues period? The ONLY issue i have is sometime when i miss a link on the screen it scrolls down to the bottom.... tiny bug that will be fixed....

you are right people just dont get it it took the iphone a while to progress and look at it now the droid will only be better
