O man my head hurts.
Ok so anyone who is really into music has moved away from the stock music player I am sure by day #2 with the whatever Android phone you are using.
Mixzing, Winamp, PowerAMP.
All good quality replacements.
So I notice in Winamp and in PowerAMP that my genres are all mixed up. I have 3 tracks in UNKNOWN GENRE, 1 in (148), 1 in *Rock.... just all these weird names.
Using PowerAMP I change the Genre from UNKNOWN to ALTERNATIVE.
Go to Library > Genre > UNKNOWN: still has 3 tracks listed there. Open it, yep that one I just changed is listed there. Go to INFO: it says ALTERNATIVE.
Go to GENRE > ALTERNATIVE: it's listed there too!?!?!
Plug Droid into laptop. Open Media Monkey. Scan. Fuix 100's of genres.
Fire up PowerAMP. RESCAN: all the odd genres are still there.
Yet when I click INFO the correct genre is listed there.
My head is spinning now. Where is it getting this info from?!?!?!?!?!
