Galaxy 5 s usb and ram

I know the new galaxy s5 has 2 gb ram but how much is usable ram after operating system and preloaded apps installed? on my bionic I have trouble with usable RAM memory and although I use CLEAN MASTER, ram is used right back up and phone slows or screen freezes. I also have mirror mode and also usb out on bionic. Is there any such feature on galaxy 5 s.

The OS could take 1 G or more but Android is pretty good with memory management.
