Its USB 3 for quick charge 2 probaby. The note 3 will be able to charge very very fast. Look how the S4 is compared the the HTC one(164 vs 237mins) with quick charge 1 one enabled.

I plan on purchasing the Note 3 on day one just like I did my Nexus and the One.The trade in value of the One is 250 as of today.The trade in value for the S4 is 285,I'm hoping the One gets up there with the S4.The rep and I were trying to figure out what makes phones go up and down in value.Anybody care to educate me
