Galaxy S3 wont connect to any computer.

I just got a Galaxy s3 today, and my mother got one as well. When i try to connect mine to my computer or to my sisters laptop it will not connect, but my mothers phone can connect to both. Did i get a faulty phone or is there something i can do to remedy this situation? I have the phone's software up to date.

I had the same problem I pulled the battery and then it was able to connect. Don't know if you tried that.

Is the computer Windows 7?

Yes, ive tried pulling the battery, ive tried connecting it with out the SD card, ive tried connecting it in different ports. And yes im using windows 7.

I'd probably download the device driver from Samsung's website.
