galaxy siii issues HELP

Last Tuesday i bought the Samsung Galaxy SIII from Verizon. On Monday this week and this occurs frequently, the keyboard freezes up and i get a message saying"there was an error with the Samsung keyboard please choose" I followed the directions and then the keyboard doesn't show up for a good 5 minutes. I tried doing a soft rest and it didn't fix the problem. Also, I took my phone off the charger (fully charged) at 11:00 am and is now about 2:30 and the battery is already at 6%. What's wrong with this thing? Please help me

With the problems that you are describing, my best suggestion would be to do a complete factory reset. Too many things going wrong, including charging, although that could be a charger or a cable problem. But doing a factory reset will tell you one way the other.
