Gallery / File Management / Organization

Ok, I am sure this has been asked before and I searched but could not find it. If there is a thread current that will answer this please direct me.

So I take a lot of pictures, and I like to try to keep them neat. This wasnt a problem with my palm. However with the droid I can not figure out how to do this. Is this supposed to be done with that motorola media link software?

I usb'd and mounted the phone and just used file explorer on windows to move pictures into the right folders etc but now they will not display in my gallery. Just my picasa albums.

I decided to reboot the phone to see if that made a difference. I opeend the gallery and it took forever just saying Loading.... Loading ... Loading. Keep in mind this is the new gallery post update. Finally about 20 mins later, all of my photos/folders are there. So I guess you can use windows file explorer to manage
