Gallery Help Please Double Storage?

When I open the Gallery, I have duplicates of everything I do. For example, I downloaded 5 movies, when I open the gallery,it shows the 5 movies under sd card, and also under all video's. Also with downloaded pictures, it shows all pictures (28), then under SD Card, it shows the same pictures.

Am I using double space because of this? When I delete the non SD folders, it wipes out everything. Any helpwould be appreciated, but please be specific, Im not a pro at this.

If it matters, here are my storage specs....total space 14.93GB.....Available Space 10.14 GB......internal space 217MB.

Could someone shed some light on this..

They aren't duplicated, those are just categories, and the items show up in more than one category.

They *are* All Pictures, and they *are also* stored on the SD card.

So I'm not using double memory?

No, they are not physically duplicated on your card.

Just duplicated within how the gallery shows them.
