Gallery no longer installed after droid upgrade

I can no longer access my Gallery after droid updated...get the message "application is not installed on your phone." Please help

Remove that shortcut and re-add it from the app dock.

I HATE the new gallery!

Yes. The gallery icon on my shortcuts is now useless. More importantly though, the gallery has totally changed. The new gallery has MUCH LOWER QUALITY when I zoom in on my pictures! Can I PLEASE get the old one back somehow? The new fancy format sucks too. Original one please.
