Gaming on the Thunderbolt?

Hello all, I was hoping someone could help me with a few questions.

I currently have a Droid 1, purchased back at initial release.

I'm not sure if I would consider myself a hardcore phone gamer. I've been playing Gun Bros a lot lately, I like to play tower defense games, etc.
What's hardcore? Castle Defenders? (I doubt I'd really play any mmorpg's on my phone)
I'd play 1st person shooters though..Rage3d on the Ipad is pretty cool.

How much of a difference is the dual core on the Bionic going to make vs the Thunderbolt?

Does it sound like I should wait? All things considered, the TB sounds perfect for me, I'm just on the fence because of the processor.

gun bros on the Xoom (dual core) is completely lag free no matter the amount of action on the screen. havent tried it on the TB yet but it was a little jumpy on my DX in comparison to the Xoom

I would like to know how the Gameloft games run on a Thunderbolt vs a Droid 1. When I play NOVA or GT Motor Academy on my Droid 1, both lag a little, even overclocked.

I hate to have to bump my own thread...but seriously..no one else is curious about gaming on the Thunderbolt?

Can anyone else provide any of their experiences?
Are you lagging? How is it compared to your last phone?

Can anyone tell me what is considered "hardcore gaming"?
Homerun Battle 3d? Gun Bros? Castle Defenders?
