GDE / PandaHome question.

Alright, I've been messing around with GDE and PandaHome for a few days now. The only problem I have is, a lot of the time the HTC Sense will try to boot itself up in the background. I'm pretty sure it does it when accessing stock apps like messages, albums, etc
Is there any way to stop this, or auto kill it?
I've just been using the tasKiller widget to kill every thing when I go back to the home screen for either GDE or Panda.

think of rooting and flashing a ROM instead, those are all sloppy... I know cause i used to use them all the time...
