you are a power user then one of the first things you probably to when you get a new phone or after you flash a custom rom is run a benchmark to see how well your new phone or setup will perform. GeekBench has always been the go to benchmarking tool for iOS, but has recently began to build some traction with updates to Quadrant benchmark being non existent and OEMs and rom developers gaming the Antutu benchmark.
There is now a new version of GeekBench which brings it up to version 4. You are able to benchmark either your CPU or your GPU and you get a score at the end of the benchmark. After seeing some Note 7 speed test showing the Snapdragon 820 to perform slower than the Exynos version I wonder how these two variants stack up to one another in GeekBench 4?
My Snapdragon 820 version of the Galaxy S7 Edge ended up scoring 1068 in single core and 3562 in multicore. The GPU scored 5138. What kind of scores are you getting on your device?
