This shows what a Droidnovice I am, but here goes. :icon_eek:
I have an ipod, and don't know how to get my music on the phone. I imagine I can put itunes on the phone, but want to be econonomical with space. What's the best way to get my music on my Droid, you guys?

If I put itunes on the phone, would I upload my library like I do my ipod?

I'm so happy to have you all out there! Thanks.

Music you have ripped

Firstly you can just copy the music you've ripped from your pc to the Droid. Connect the USB and it shows up as another USB mass storage device on your Windows pc.

You can purchase music straight to the Droid with the Amazon mp3 app. It will allow you to browse the top hits, listen for a bit, and purchase, pretty much the standard stuff.

Mediamonkey even allows you to take your iPod playlist and copy them over the Droid. If you use it, you will never go back to iTunes unless your addicted to their store. Mediamonkey will handle all of your portable devices.
