Geo-tagging with the X

While the X's camera and GPS does an excellent job, I'm wondering if the Droid can be attached to my main camera, a Canon D60, via a cable to use for geo-tagging.

With my shaky hands at this advanced age, among other things, holding my X steady for a photo is a challenge.
