Why does a live wallpaper need full internet access?! I'm staying away!

Edit: How do things like this end up on the front page of a very popular well respected forum? Shouldn't the staff scrutinize information posted where everyone can see? Idk,just a surprise to me.

Why does this app need to know so much info about you like tower location ? I guess that I could remove all the spyware but I still don't trust it
